About Us

BattDepot.ca warrants to the customer that its products will be free from defects in materials and workmanship affecting normal use for a period from the delivery date.

You must provide the original invoice (Either paypal confirmation or BattDepot.ca Confirmation) for all refund or exchange transactions. All warranty, refund or exchange requests will NOT be processed if the customer cannot provide original invoices. It is customer's responsibility to keep all the invoices. Broken warranty seals on goods void all warranties and returns where warranty and return can be made. BattDepot.ca reserves the right to charge a fifteen percent (15%) restocking fee for all returned items.

After thirty (30) days and up to one (1) year from date of delivery, BattDepot.ca will subject to inspection, repair the defective battery pack or replace it with a new or reconditioned unit. The return must be accompanied by a Return Materials Authorization (RMA) number. (For information regarding how to attain an RMA number please see "RMA Procedures") and the customer is responsible for shipping and any other costs involved with returning the defective product(s) back to BattDepot.ca in a protected packing.

This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear of products. Rechargeable batteries that do not reach 100% original charging capacity are NOT covered by this warranty. (For more information regarding rechargeable battery warranty please see "Rechargeable Battery Warranty")

This warranty does not cover damage, fault, failure or malfunction due to external causes either, including accident, abuse, misuse, problems with electrical power, servicing not authorized by BattDepot.ca, usage and/or storage and/or installation not in accordance with product instructions, failure to perform required preventive maintenance, act of God, fire, flood, war, act of violence or any similar occurrence; any attempt by any person other than BattDepot.ca's personnel or any person authorized by BattDepot.ca, to adjust, repair or support the products and problems caused by use of parts and components not supplied by BattDepot.ca.

RMA Procedures

Step 1:
Please email techsupport@battdepot.com and request for an RMA number and RMA Form. Fill out the RMA form and fax it to 1-888-738-7953 or Email a completed form to techsupport@battdepot.com with your RMA number in the subject line. Step 2:
Once you've obtained your RMA Number, ship and insure your defective product along with the RMA Form enclosed in the package and a copy of the original invoice back to the shipping center for BattDepot.ca. The battery must be shipped in protected packaging or the warranty will not remain valid. If the product is NOT shipped out within 7 days of receiving notification of your RMA approval, the RMA number will not remain valid. The package must be prepaid, sent by Regular mail only (Canada customers use Canada Post and US Customers use USPS) with the RMA Number marked clearly on the shipping label.

Rechargeable Batteries Warranty

BattDepot.ca offers a limited warranty against abnormal breakdown on rechargeable batteries for a period from the delivery date. At BattDepot.ca's discretion, we will repair or replace the battery if our technician tests it and determines that the battery is in fact, defective. Please be advised that since rechargeable batteries are consumable products, warranty coverage on rechargeable batteries is limited to not being able to hold charges (will not charge).

Rechargeable batteries normally have a limited charging and discharging cycles between 400 ~ 1000 cycles depending on the application and individual's usage pattern. The capacity (available usage time) of rechargeable batteries reduces each time they go through the charging and discharging cycle. Due to these reasons, when rechargeable batteries are not able to reach their full (original) capacity, they are considered as normal wear and tear and, therefore, are not covered under this warranty.
